What is a VOB file?
The VOB extension is a container format and is used for storing DVD Object Video files in a DVD. These files are found in the VIDEO_TS folder in the root directory of the DVD and contain most of its data, such as audio, video, DVD menus, subtitles, and other requisite information. More often than not, VOB files come with encryption preventing the user from copying it to another location.
