What is a VFF file?
Another category of raster images, the Sun Microsystems developed the VFF file format for use on Sun workstations. The TAAC-1 Application Accelerator supports it and is exported by the Xilch program, a part of Sun’s XIL Test Suite.
Alternatively, a VFF file can contain a Nintendo Wii information to be delivered to the gaming console via the WiiConnect24. The content of the file can be of various types, but it generally is about Wii Mail data and Wii channels.
Even if you are a Nintendo user, you may not have come across a VFF file as it is not meant for user’s access directly. Even though the organization discontinued the WiiConnect24 in 2013, but the users came up with RiiConnect24. It allows them to utilize most of the VFF features and have been doing it since then.
