What is a RFA file?
Developed by Autodesk, its Revit, a BIM (Building Information Modelling) program, uses the RFA extension. It is a data file that can be loaded into a project created by the software and is based on a compilation of items known as ‘families.’
Revit is capable of hosting two kinds of files – system and families. The former comes attached with a Revit model, whereas the latter is detachable, and you can insert it to any compatible file.
