What is a RDS file?
RDS files are 3D scene files created by radio dream studio. Ray Dream studio was developed in the 1990s however, it’s no longer supported. RDS files are old 3D drawing and animation programs designed originally by meta creations, which was bought by Eovia Corporation and later by DAZ productions. Meta creations run some of the software product which can import RDS format.
RDS file contains three-dimensional objects and animations settings that support lightning textures, shading, and some other effects. The file normally stores multiple objects within a single file and uses the .rds extension. These file formats are also quite small, unlike their text file counterparts. Therefore, they take less storage space on your device. The file preserves classes and data types like factors; hence you don’t have to redefine data types after loading a specific file. To open RDS files, you need suitable software like the ERMIS radio data system or Ray Dream Studio (Native data format).
