What is a RDATA file?
.RDATA is a free software environment for statistical computing and graphics. This file type in particular was developed by The R Project for Statistical Computing – by Wu Wien – as a replacement for its predecessor, the .RDA file. .RDATA files may run on a vast variety of UNIX platforms that may also include Windows and macOS. The software used is that developed the .RDATA files save workspaces that consist of value objects and functions during an open session in R; used for the storage of a working environment that is open for alteration. When a workspace is opened the R does not show a list of previously created objects. Moreover, another software called RStudio helps to show the objects in the workspace. Objects that may be added mostly include a numeric values list and can be altered or edited as needed in the RStudio workspace
