What is a PX file?
The PX format has been developed by Pixels and used by its image editor (previously known as Pixel32). It can store RGB, CMYK, monochrome, and HDR images with 32-bit precision. The Pixel image editor is a multi-platform software which allows retouching, manipulation, and several other effects.
The file extension supports layers, paths, masks, selections, and channels, and can also include adjustments and other effects. The PX files also contain primary database index information. It is presently considered obsolete.
