What is a PUPPET file?
A PUPPET file contains an object or character from Adobe character animator known as a puppet. Puppet character is a program used for making 2D animation characters. The file stores layers for each part of the puppet and the animation behaviors. The data is stored as an image in the form of a character animator. PUPPET files come from the creation of artwork present in photoshop PSD or Illustrator AL file formats. Only the Adobe character animator can allow users to export share and import PUPPET files. It’s easy to open the file extension in the character animator. You can open the file by selecting the file then import the PUPPET file to the project panel in character. To place a puppet in a stage in character animator, choose the puppet in the Project panel, then select add to the new scene. You can also drag the puppet straight from the project panel into the scene in a character animator CHPROJ project file.
