What is a PK file?
The Peak File, PK file, is a visual representation of an audio file, and it creates a copy of the original audio file and saves it in the same folder as the original file and displays a waveform representation of the audio file. These files can be deleted without changing or affecting the original file. It is typically used by the LaTex software program, but it is opened primarily by the Adobe Audition software and used by Cool Edit Pro, and EMap.
