What is a NWD file?
Developed by Autodesk, its Navisworks, an architectural design reviewer and simulator program, uses the NWD file extension. These files are a snapshot of the NWF format and include source data files that enable users to view it on a standalone basis. The contents of the extension range from CAD models, animations, camera viewpoints to user comments. It allows NWD format to be useful in making presentations and showing all the possibilities to the onlookers.
