The HWP file format is a part of the Koran word processor Hangul. It is a text document that has been developed by Hancom Inc., a South Korean company. HWP extension is similar to DOCX format in the MS-Word, other than the fact that it contains Korean written language. It is the default document format for the South Korean government.
