What is a VPE file?
Developed by Adobe Systems, the VPE file format specifies 3D geometry of a 2D image. It is related to an enhanced version of Adobe Photoshop. Its primary task is to save vanishing point planes on a 2D model and can retain them as specified by the designer.
It helps in ascertaining the 3D geometry of the image, and you can export it to add the after-effects. It saves each point as a PNG file, and the VPE file represents the entire graph. When you import the data into After Effects, it re-creates the scene as composition and then adds a three-dimensional layer to each plane.
