What is a FAL file?
The FAL file extension is a header that lists the characteristics of a bitmap saved in Q0 format. The latter is a 24-bit RGB Japanese format. The FAL files contain the header information, whereas the RGB extension carries the original image file. The contents of the record are viewable via a standard text editor, but you aren’t supposed to tweak it.
How to Make FAL Files
Exact steps for creating FAL files will vary by program and operating system. Download one of the above listed programs and you should be able to follow typical procedure for opening files or creating files from the File menu.
