What is an EOT file?
EOT is a font file, a power presentation (.PPS), or an open type OTF font rooted in a document file web page. It’s embedded with Microsoft embedding font tools (WEFT). It’s also a basing font and content, a user searches using the internet explorer browser.
The files were primarily created for internet explorer, and may not be functional to other browsers like Mozilla and chrome. A user can use it, but with limited functionality. EOT files are not meant to be manually opened as they are saved with the associated document. The EOT format type extension is derived from the use of true type fonts.
