Developed by Microsoft, the Enhanced Windows Metafile Format (EMF) belongs to the vector image files group. It is a 32-bit version and is an enhanced version of Windows Metafile Format (WMF), which used 16-bit data instead. It doesn’t support CMYK data and saves files in RGB format instead.
