What is a DRW file?
Developed by Corel, the Micrografx Designer and the Windows Draw software uses the DRW file format. It belongs to the vector filegroup and stores a technical drawing or a designer one depending on the program that saves it.
It came into existence in the 1990s and was used by engineers and architects. Corel acquired Micrografx in 2001, and it is currently known as iGrafx. It has retained most of the features of the DRW format, but some of them may be missing when accessed by the CorelDRAW software.
