What is a DMS file?
Developed by Commodore International, Amiga’s Disk Masher System uses the DMS file format. It is a disk image n compressed format and contains data that can be used with Amiga PCs. Created to aide transfer between users via floppy disks, users could also share programs, games, and other files useful for Amiga Emulator devices. The DMS file format is no longer in use and considered obsolete.
