What is a CTB file?
Developed by Autodesk, the AutoCAD, a 2D and 3D drawing software, uses the CTB extension. The format is a color-based plot style file and contains mappings of colors and relates them to layers of objects. These are settings files capable of storing binary data and helps in attaching color and display settings to enable users to design new diagrams conveniently. Even though many still use the CTB extension, the STB format has replaced it due to its superior properties.
