CLIP File

Category: Raster Image Files

What is a CLIP file?

Developed by CELSYS, the CLIP file extension is a part of the raster image group and is a replacement of LIP files. The Clip Studio Paint, a 2D drawing application, uses it to store raster or vector layers. It can include strokes from pen, pencil, or paintbrush. It also can save shapes, texts, filters, and images. Users primarily utilize the software to create animations and comic illustrations, and it is similar to the PSD files created by Photoshop.
CLIP files are re-editable.
