What is a CDA file?
The CDA file extension represents CD Audio Track stored on a CD. It denotes a small stub file (44 bytes) that Microsoft Windows generated for each audio track on a “Red-Book” CD-DA format. These files do not store the PCM sound wave data, but only the information about where they start and stop. Users can copy CDA content on to their storage, but it will only be in a shortcut to link to the primary file.
