What is an ARF file?
ARF file is an acronym for Advanced Recording Format. ARF files are video files containing data from a record online meeting downloaded from WebEx. It’s a file extension for WebEx and an Advanced recording file from a network-based recording. WebEx is Cisco’s web conferencing program. The files are binary video files and store video data, audio data, table of content, an attendee list on separate panels. ARF recordings can be transformed to windows media(.WMV) or flash (.SWF) files using a free WebEx ARF player. Additionally, it’s used for automatic response files. When the user directly records a meeting, it’s saved directly by the WRF file extension. ARF file extension is generally reserved for downloaded recordings.
