Developed by Paragon Decision Technology, the AIMMS (an acronym for Advanced Integrated Multidimensional Modeling System) is an analytics software company with offices in several parts of the world. The AIM text file extension saves the models created by the program. It is similar to an AMB format but uses the binary file to store it instead of the ASCII text used in the latter.
