What is a XLR file?
XLR is a file extension for a spreadsheet file used by Microsoft works. It’s a version 6.9 of Microsoft works. The file format can store things like pictures, charts, and regular spreadsheet data like texts, numbers, and formulas in separate cells of the spreadsheet. The files usually are too large to send via email, hence, needs to be converted to a pdf, to allow smooth transmission.
XLR file contains similar programs to the Microsoft office, but with limited features. It stores data in cells which are organized in grind cell containing rows and columns. To open the files, you can use Microsoft works, excel, or excel viewer. Also, it can be opened and edited with the now discontinued Microsoft Works.
To convert the files, you can use Zamzar. It’s a free file converter that runs in your program. It converts XLR to XLS, PDF, RTF, XLSX, and CSV, amongst other similar formats.
