What is a WBFS file?
This wbfs (Wii Backup File System) file was developed by Waninkoko. It uses the C++ programming language. Basically, it is a disc image format that has backup images of Wii games. The files keep Wii games on SD or USBs formatted with WBFS format. Images can then be loaded onto WBFS partitions. If you would like to load a WBFS file on a Personal Computer without hitches, you will need an emulator like Dolphin. You can also use Wii manager like Mac OS X to convert ISO to WBFS formatted drive smoothly. The best part about that is data is compressed in a FAT32 manner. All the excess game files (more than 4GB) is split into two.
Using WBFS to develop games allows you to list games with codes, sizes and titles, drag and drop when dealing with many files, process batches of ISO, and variety of languages among others.
