What is a STYLE file?

STYLE files are files that contain sketches as formulated by a sketch pad or a 3D modeling program. These sketch files can be applied to such drawings. Some STYLE files available are wavy pencil lines or quick pen strokes, and graphite stick marks. The primary purpose of a STYLE file is usually to make a CAD model look hand-drawn. Google’s style builder is the one that creates Style files that can be assembled together with Sketch Up Pro 6 and 7. One advantage that these files have is the ease of sharing them between multiple users. The files can easily be shared and applied to multiple drawings. There are two types of STYLE files, type 1 and 2. The main contrast between the two is that STYLE file 2 contains map elements and other symbols, which include arrows, borders, legend items, arrows, backgrounds, and colors. All these elements form an essential assembly of instruments critical in sketch drawing
