What is a PY file?

PY files are used for writing scripts using Python programming language. It is a programming language that is object-oriented commonly used for developing various software. You can create and edit PY files in a text editor, although you will need a Python interpreter. The best thing about working with Python is that you can easily read and execute, which is why they are sometimes called a beginner’s program language. Viewing and editing programs for Python files differ from the one executing. Since it is an open-source program, you can use it for developing an array of both free and commercial software such as Pylons, Panda3D, and Bazaars. You can access PY files through many platforms, including Mobile Operating systems. They are best for programming web servers as well as administrative computer systems. Some people often refer to PY files as PYC. However, the two are different in that once PYC is the saved version of compiled PY files.
