What is a SAV file?
Developed by Nintendo, its DS portable game system emulators uses the SAV file extension to save game progress files. These are often accompanied by NDS (Nintendo DS ROM) files, which the ROM requires to load the extension correctly. It also stores other in-game information such as character name, current levels, experience, coins, or other resources. These files can also be transferred between compatible flash cards.
