What is a BIK file?
Developed by RAD Game Tools, the BIK format is a proprietary extension that allows video games to play movie clips. It is compatible with both PC and console games and compresses standard video without deteriorating the overall quality of the file. Since we are talking of movie clips, most of the BIK files come from AVI, MKV, or any other similar format. The format is capable of generating 320 x 240 pixels files, all the way up to 720 x 1280 ones.
