What is a VM file?
VM means Velocity template files which is why you can only find them on Velocity. Velocity here is a template language that is based on Java and written in the velocity programming language. The file contains VTL statements that predict the language used by Velocity. The documentation of the statements is in ordinary text format. The main function of the VM file is that it auto-engineers source codes and class skeletons from the web. These source codes are the basic units for programming. For the Velocity language of programming to work, then the VM file has to be merged with data from a Java program. By these, then the VM file will form the template that will guide the end-product formation. This is after programming. Access to the file is possible for Mac, Windows, and Linux users. Apache Velocity is the application that can access the file, which is a patented program. Other variations are currently not available
