What is a LIFE file?
Life files were created by Light Notebook, an application that assists many users in recording, organizing, and sharing their lives. Previously known as Light of Creativity, notes and files in the light notebook account of the user were to be used as a digital Time capsule and the format of this particular file type is binary. The extensions most commonly used for these files was “.Life”; it is also said to primarily be associated with the game of life. There are several viewers or, and, players but it is not considered to be a game in the conventional sense that one would assume. Without the proper software, it is impossible to open the file type. The software, however, is now discontinued which can cause users to enter links to the LIFE files in registry entries that are no longer in use, preventing them from opening or converting the .Life file
