What is an 8CA file?
A file extension from the house of Texas Instruments, the 8CA belongs to the raster group and uses 16-bit color. Also known as Image Var, it is used by the TI-84 Plus C graphing calculators as a background.
The TI Connect software is capable of converting images belonging to PNG, JPEG, TIF, GIF, or BMP extension into an 83 x 133 pixels 8CA Image Var file and stores it in the Archive memory. You can store a maximum of ten such images, and each calculator also comes with its default images.
